Manatees always seek out warm water, and during the winter they are famous for making their way to Florida’s warmest waters, where tourists enjoy them every year. A lot of what we know about manatees comes from their presence in Florida’s coastal springs.

I wish whenever it got cold and snowed in the winter I could just go to Florida. Canadian winters are COLD!! But only sometimes. I mean, I enjoy sledding, making snowmen and warm winters with slush.
